The Art Institute Online - The Art Institute Online (commonly abbreviated AiO) is the online branch of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. A part of the system of 30 Art Institutes located in North America, this online school offers degree programs as well as non-degree diploma courses in a variety of creative fields.
Abstract art - Abstract art is now generally understood to mean art that does not depict objects in the natural world, but instead uses shapes and colours in a non-representational or subjective way. In the very early 20th century, the term was more often used to describe art, such as Cubist and Futurist art, that depicts real forms in a simplified or rather reduced way - keeping only an allusion of the original natural subject.

Arthur Schopenhauer (February 22, 1788 September 21, 1860) is one of the most important 19th century philosophers, most famous for his work, The World as Will and Representation. His parents were both from Gdansk, and Johanna Schopenhauer.
